#PowerOf23# Day 23 - 23 Things I learnt by writing @PowerOf23 Series
My contacts who are acquainted with me, know that I had always been a fiction writer, who periodically wrote only about fiction. Writing about emotions, love stories, relationships, imaginary things was natural to me without an additional effort.
So when I decided to write the #PowerOf23# series, I was apprehensive as till this month I had never ventured writing on Non-Fictional content so far as I believed Non-Fiction Content to be topic of experts, eminent professionals in the field of psychology, human behaviour studies and/or professionals from Human Resource Background, in general who are excellent public speakers, blessed with the power of vocabulary, understanding, reasoning, creativity and positive thoughts. Thankfully, I expressed my anxiousness to my friend Suchitra Kamble and she advised me to focus on writing my experience, my thoughts, my feelings rather than focusing on world, focusing on the content or vocabulary and how it will be perceived by the world at large.
Writing this write up/article everyday became a project of thinking, analysing, researching, strategizing and more of releasing stress. The after maths of writing was discussion late night with Suchitra as why did I had this thought? what was the key take away of the article? where did I fall short ? how to be better at it in the next write up including sometimes what should be the topic for next day article. This continuous immediate feedback helped me immensely in writing better, focused and constructively in the past few days. Strange it may seem as days passed by, I got more involved and absorbed in this writing project and it became a core part of my day to unwind. I use to read at the end of the day to unwind and writing took precedence over my reading. The feedback and encouragement I received from you all who are yet reading this so far today and have continuously read it, commented, provided feedback was the instant motivation along with the assurance that writing my thoughts, collating it has in fact created a difference, an impact and somewhere in my own limited way I made a difference.
With this thought, let’s end our @PowerOf23 series with how writing #PowerOf23# evolved, helped and engaged me. I would like to share with you 23 most important things I learnt will writing this series which will create a positive change in my everyday life henceforth.
