Core values define you- the person you are today. It could be self-beliefs ingrained in you since your childhood by your parents OR it could be the ones you picked up along life’s path as you grew up, educated & progressed in your career OR it could be the values adopted by simply following your Role Models OR imparted to you by your Mentor OR it could simply be that the discipline of these values being imbibed in you consciously/ subconsciously by society, your surroundings or an event which impacted you to change your perception. I am proud of the fact that in times of despair these are the values which have made me choose the right path, helped me win over people, enabled me to make a difference in minuscule manner and managed me to deal with difficult situations and continues to inspire me.
.Acceptance: The awareness not to fret on small things, to accept & let go of what you can’t control & to change what is in your control. Life is too complex to expect everyday to be same & the power lies in ability to adapt  to the world and scenario around without giving up on your core values.
.Balance: Maintaining balanced behaviour in any situation is not an easy virtue to obtain. You train your sub-conscious mind to be calm in each situation. Cherishing calmness helps you to stay composed and logically during stressful situations.
.Compassion: Being Compassionate is taking time to understand suffering of others and able to make a difference.
.Commitment: Professionals who value commitment are good at managing both personal as well as professional relationships, especially while handling conflicts, building sense of trust, collaborating with others & working on as a team.
.Consistency: Consistency often gives people reassurance in the decisions they made because they can rely on a certain process followed.
.Creativity: Creative people are able to think up new and big ideas & think out of the box. Creative persons impart positive contribution to the community.
.Decision Making: The confidence to initiate a course of action is fulfilling as you are ultimately responsible for the bouquets life greets you with or face the brickbats as a part of your decision.
.Determination: Refusing to give up when things get tough, to change challenging situations into opportunities, to not give up, to ensure wins for you & others. Discipline to succeed results from determination to win in turn will lead you to the life that you want.
.Diversity: Diversity isn’t onlybeing broad minded to accept people from different cities, of different languages and different culture. Diversity is the eagerness to interact with people from various backgrounds to learn new perspectives. Inclusion is a value that focuses on accepting diversity–it supports real opportunities for all people to be friends. Inclusiveness is about having positive interactions with other people and valuing them without being judgemental.
.Efficiency: The ability to work smarter and harder, to be balanced, to ensure things are correctly, completely and practically completed.
.Empathy: Being empathetic will not only connect you to your inner circle  people it will also help you to connect to complete strangers.
.Gratitude: Gratitude provides a powerful perspective shift whenever you feel yourself get into a rut. Situations like the present lockdown teaches you to be grateful for the basic things which you took for granted like having home, meals thrice a day and caring  people in your life. You also become grateful for the small things like the first morning tea you relished or the yummy dinner you just had.
.Humility: Humility is the antidote to arrogance and selfishness and is the value to adopt if you want to keep your feet firmly on the ground.
.Integrity: I live by the quote “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” —Ralph Waldo Emerson. Integrity is your behaviour when no one is observing. Losing your integrity may result in anxiety, frustration and a loss of meaning in your life.
.Kindness: Kindness speak for itself as it is part of your behaviour. Performing random acts of kindness on a regular basis and doing things to help others for the sole reason of benefitting someone else makes one contented.
.Passion: The enthusiasm to live life on your terms will ensure that you also inculcate the determination to succeed.
.Perseverance: People who become very successful have undoubtedly failed many times. It means having the patience to recognise that sometimes the only thing that works in your favour is time. It is easy to quit however perseverance rewards in the end.
.Punctuality: The thing about valuing punctuality is that it shows a great respect for Time. Punctuality results in reliability.

.Restraint: Your mind and body both know how to pause before taking action, they permit you the requisite time to generate awareness as well as to ponder to consider the results of your action. Powerful people value restraint which helps them to take concise precise decisions and enables them to determine the best course of action.
.Simplicity: Believe in the power of simplicity. Generally people tend to make things more complicated than they actually are. The ones who prefer to keep things straightforward are those who value simplicity.
.Trust: To trust and be trusted, you need to put faith in other person with an ounce of risk, as well as exposing oneself’s vulnerability. It’s difficult to have this value but once you trust someone they either are a blessing or a lesson for life.
.Understanding: Understanding is a basic value however few recognise it’s ability to recognise other’s point of view without trying to change it & reaching an amicable solution acceptable to parties involved.
