Reality Check
He continued to sip his coffee, not knowing how to react!
Was it another of her melodramatic approach... Well, she could be a drama queen when she did choose to be one.
The unsure mind of his, continue to relish the last bit of filter coffee..
Left in his coffee cup.
Slowly he looked up, as the silence grew longer.
Something in her eyes said that this time she meant every word she said.
Finally he said, " I can't keep on dealing with your tantrums. Grow Up! I can't drop things and continue to live in an illusion like you do!"
This was not what she expected. Didn't she drop everything for him just on a mere call from him.
Did she lived so far in an illusion?
What did she ask?
What did she want from him... Only his time.. Was it too much to ask for?
She arose, stepping out of the restaurant.
In the background she could hear his voice calling out to her.
The sun was just setting, spreading an aura of its orange twilight.
Suddenly, the world seemed lighter; lot brighter and much peaceful or was it her decision
To walk off... finally...
From him that made her feel so.
Life did not seemed an illusion now.
